Warranty Coverage
Helmwood warrants that its products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential or commercial interior use, subject to the terms and conditions outlined below.
Hard Goods Warranty – Five (5) Years
Helmwood warrants the structural integrity and workmanship of its hard goods products, including tables, casegoods, consoles, desks, credenzas, shelving, wood furniture, metal furniture, stone furniture, and other non-upholstered products, for a period of five (5) years from the date of delivery.
Covered defects include:

Structural failure resulting from defects in materials or workmanship.

Failure of joinery, welds, or other construction methods under normal intended use.

Manufacturing defects that materially impair the function of the product.
Upholstered Components Warranty – Two (2) Years
Helmwood warrants upholstered components, including frames, suspension systems, cushions, upholstery labor, and related workmanship, for a period of two (2) years from the date of delivery.
Covered defects include:

Manufacturing defects in upholstered frames.

Failure of suspension systems under normal intended use.

Defects in upholstery workmanship, including seams and construction details.

Defects in cushion construction resulting from manufacturing errors.
Natural Materials
Many Helmwood products are crafted from natural materials. Variations in color, grain pattern, texture, veining, figure, and other naturally occurring characteristics are inherent to the materials and are not considered defects.
Natural materials may include, but are not limited to:

Solid wood
-
Veneer
-
Stone
-
Leather
-
Metal finishes
-
Other specialty finishes
Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:

Normal wear and tear.

Scratches, dents, chips, stains, burns, or impact damage.

Finish wear, fading, patina development, oxidation, or changes in appearance over time.

Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, neglect, accidents, improper handling, improper maintenance, or unauthorized modifications.

Damage caused by excessive humidity, low humidity, temperature extremes, sunlight exposure, water intrusion, or environmental conditions.

Customer-supplied materials, COM/COL materials, or customer-specified finishes.
-
Variations inherent in natural materials.
-
Commercial abuse exceeding normal intended use.

Damage occurring during transportation, relocation, storage, or installation performed by parties other than Helmwood or its authorized representatives.
Wood Movement
Wood is a natural material that expands and contracts in response to environmental conditions. Minor movement, seasonal changes, checking, joint lines, texture variations, and other naturally occurring characteristics are expected and are not considered defects.
Customers are responsible for maintaining interior environments appropriate for fine furniture.
Remedy
If Helmwood determines that a covered defect exists during the applicable warranty period, Helmwood may, at its sole discretion:

Repair the product.

Replace the affected component.
-
Replace the product with a comparable product.
-
Provide a partial or full credit toward replacement.
The selected remedy shall constitute the customer's exclusive remedy under this warranty.
Warranty Claims
To initiate a warranty claim, the purchaser must provide:

Original proof of purchase.

Photographs of the claimed defect.
-
A written description of the issue.
Helmwood reserves the right to inspect the product before approving any warranty claim.
Limitation of Liability
Helmwood's liability is limited to the original purchase price of the product. Helmwood shall not be liable for incidental, indirect, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of use, loss of revenue, project delays, labor costs, removal costs, installation costs, transportation costs, or third-party expenses.
Transferability
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
Effective Date
This warranty applies to products delivered on or after the date of issue and supersedes any prior warranty statements unless otherwise agreed in writing.
