Our roots are in milling hardwoods—from salvaging local logs to producing fine furniture-grade lumber. That hands-on experience with the material, from the inside out, continues to shape our approach today. We build with respect for the wood itself, making choices that highlight its strengths and preserve its integrity.

Helmwood operates out of a dedicated 15,000 sq. ft. workshop in Houston, where a team of designers and skilled craftspeople brings each project to life. We’re structured to take on complex, highly personalized designs while also having the capacity to deliver consistent results at scale—whether for a single room or an entire property.
